Pablo
A part of every Symfo solution, Pablo is an outstanding reporting and trial management tool offering standard and user customized reports.
Data captured via a Symfo solution are automatically transmitted to secure Symfo servers, and can be accessed via Pablo from anywhere in the world, via an ASP client/server architecture that is system/ browser independent.
Pablo can "push" data to any electronic data capture (EDC) or data management system in any customer required format.
Accessible via any computer type (Mac, PC, other) as long as there’s an internet connection and a web-browser, Pablo offers Symfo customers unparalleled power and ease of use. Just a few of the functions Pablo gives you worldwide control over include:
- Reporting: Pablo permits defining varying reports to be automatically sent to the different user groups or individuals. Symfo offers comprehensive off-the-shelf reports in addition to user-configurable options, but, as customer needs differ Symfo also offers customized report development.
- User management: Creation and management of users (sponsors, investigators, administrators) and their levels of access/privileges. Ease of use is paramount, for example you can even define a group of users (a “family”) and assign the entire group different privileges from users outside the family.
- Device Tracking: This powerful logistic tool allows users at different levels to track the availability of different mobile devices used by patients (Leonardo, Michelangelo, etc.) for logistics management. In conjunction with the ability to reconfigure Symfo devices for re-use without the need to return the devices to Symfo, device tracking can be used to reduce the total number of handheld devices need to execute the trial effectively by up to 50% - representing a very significant cost savings.
- Notifications and alerts management: This is a particularly powerful feature used to track patient compliance and adverse events. Site personnel and Sponsors are notified if a problem occurs with a patient and are able to take the appropriate action in due time.
- Logs Management: This service allows the visualization of user access information. All connections to the servers are stored and can be visualized through this tool. Information can be searched by user or by date. The logs are available for all customers.
- Data Review: Probably the most important tool in clinical trials. It allows users to view data recorded by patients and constitutes a copy of the source documents. Data can be sorted by device and/or patient and reports can be exported.
- Device management: Assign e-diaries to investigator sites quickly and easily – this, along with all other Pablo functions, can be performed either by Symfo or the customer as desired.
- Patient management: The architecture allows the tracking of patient randomization and patient recruitment in a clinical trial process.
